Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Home Health Aides to join our growing team. The Home Health Aide will provide approved personal care and daily living support according to each individual’s care plan.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, communicates respectfully, follows instructions, and takes pride in providing dependable care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.

• Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe movement within the home.

• Assist with meal preparation and approved nutrition-related tasks.

• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and other approved household support.

• Offer companionship and encourage participation in meaningful daily activities.

• Provide medication reminders when permitted by the care plan and agency policy.

• Observe and report changes in the individual’s condition, behavior, safety, or needs.

• Follow the individual’s plan of care and instructions provided by supervisors or nurses.

• Complete accurate and timely visit documentation and timesheets.

• Follow infection-control, privacy, safety, and emergency procedures.

• Maintain professional boundaries and protect each individual’s dignity, rights, and confidentiality.

• Communicate promptly with the office regarding schedule changes, concerns, incidents, or missed visits.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current Home Health Aide certification or another recognized caregiver qualification.

• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain them before assignment.

• Current tuberculosis screening or test as required.

• Valid Social Security card and employment authorization documentation.

• Valid driver’s license or state-issued identification.

• Reliable transportation and automobile insurance when travel is required.

• Ability to pass applicable background checks and pre-employment requirements.

• Ability to follow written care plans and accurately complete documentation.

• Dependable attendance, professional communication, and a caring attitude.

• Ability to safely perform the physical responsibilities of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous home care, personal care, assisted living, nursing facility, or direct-care experience.

• Experience supporting older adults or individuals with disabilities.

• Familiarity with electronic visit verification and electronic documentation.

Schedule

Part-time hours are available. Schedules may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, or other shifts based on individual service needs and employee availability.

Compensation

$18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, assignment requirements, and availability.

Service Area

Assignments may be available in Painesville, Mentor, Cleveland, and surrounding communities. Employees are matched with available cases based on location, qualifications, schedule, and the needs of the individual receiving services.
